PRF / PRFM / PRF GEL

PRFM (Platelet-Rich Fibrin Matrix) and PRF gel are advanced, natural regenerative treatments derived from your own blood, using concentrated platelets and fibrin to stimulate healing, collagen, and tissue regeneration for skin rejuvenation, volume, and hair restoration, with PRFM being a more stable, gel-like form of PRF (Platelet-Rich Fibrin) that offers sustained growth factor release, while PRF Gel creates a more robust, long-lasting scaffold for deeper tissue repair compared to standard PRP. 

PRF (Platelet-Rich Fibrin)

  • What it is: An evolution from PRP, PRF is processed at lower speeds to retain more white blood cells and fibrin, creating a richer, more potent concentration of healing cells.
  • How it works: It provides a sustained release of growth factors, stimulating collagen and cell regeneration for skin quality improvement, often used in hair restoration. 

PRFM (Platelet-Rich Fibrin Matrix)

  • What it is: An enhanced form of PRF where a substance (like calcium chloride) is added to activate the fibrin, forming a stable, gel-like matrix or scaffold.
  • How it works: This matrix delivers growth factors slowly and consistently, acting as a mild filler while promoting tissue repair, ideal for facial rejuvenation, fine lines, and under-eye treatments. 

PRF Gel (or EZ-Gel/Bio-Gel)

  • What it is: Often considered the “third generation,” this is a further processed, highly concentrated, sponge-like gel from PRF, sometimes created with heating/cooling cycles without chemicals.
  • How it works: It provides the most prolonged and controlled release of growth factors, offering significant volume restoration and deeper tissue regeneration for enhanced hair and skin results. 

Key Differences & Uses
